Are you running MBAM real-time or just for on-demand scanning?

Agree :thumb: . And so far I'm not seeing an impact on browsing.

Well if it means anything to you, I just got done adding both to a Vista box I fixed and noticed no significant impact. As anti real-time AV as I am, I think I'd even run MSE on Vista or 7. And I know I'd use EMET, since you have no choice but to have the .NET Framework on your box anyway... may as well make good use of it.

And I'd probably use DNSCrypt too when if/when it ever gets out of beta. Looking at the comments on the website don't inspire much confidence in me, lol. I see things like: "It SHOULD work", and, "If you tick this box, cross your fingers that it doesn't brick your box". Not in those exact words, but...

Nice add... are you talking about "Download Statusbar", or something else? If something else works with it I'd like to know about it, and add it to my thread in the AV section. Or, you can.

And I'm also keeping an eye on ES.

Would it be a good idea to use Kingsoft AV 2013 when it comes out and NVT EXE Radar Pro on lockdown?

I'm using an OpenBSD/amd64 machine most times. I don't need any anti-malware solutions.

do you need a firewall with sandboxie ? and which one is the most compatible? I have a license but i am not using it right now . Just thinking of using it instead of my set up
