Unless it has changed, if the file is bigger than 25MB after being compressed by HitmanPro, HitmanPro will not upload it to their cloud for scanning.

Your welcome. Not too heavy for a netbook?

@JoeBlack...........UAC in quiet mode here. You mean your sound went away ever since you installed BD? Hey now I know what happened to me. Ni biggie. I guess if it is confirmed that is the first and only bug I found.

hmm... then looks like it'd be MBAM as my sole option. Of course, this will probably never come up for me. I've already gotten every movie & album I want via file sharing in the past. I've removed UTorrent because of this. So I can't imagine what file I'd DL would ever be that big.

But for habitual P2P users, this would indeed be problematic and not a viable solution. A shell scan with MBAM would be your best bet, or a real-time AV.

How many RAM does BD eat up in the netbook Dave? Because you know ram has a direct relation to performance hence heaviness in netbooks.:D

What I am seeing from 3 services about 7,000K in total and the system is using about 53 percent physical memory. This is my sons netbook he watches some you tube videos or listens to music so performance is not an issue.

Had my first problem with BitDefender AV Plus 2013 trial, and it wasn't good. Turned on SafePay and BD installed a dark metal graphics for the desktop and I couldn't get the computer to respond. Restarted the computer and graphics were still messed up, but had control and straightened everything out and uninstalled BitDefender. Not sure where the conflict was, maybe Sandboxie or ABP and its lists.

Most likely Sandboxie. I have been using SafePay a lot and not one issue. Usually what I do is once I click on my banking bookmark BD asks to open up in SafePay...........So I do. Works all the time perfectly. What version were you running?
