Does firewall in android really needed ?

 

Maybe not, but I feel more secure as I don't use a VPN.

 

I have been a loyal customer of iVPN for 10 years. I believe it is located in the isle of man. iVPN does not log. It has a decent amount of breakouts and to my experience very stable. I would rank it among the best. Warning. It is pricey. I was paying for the stability $40 per quarter year. Prices are better now. All that being said I am about to switch to hide.me. $2.59 per month for 24 months is hard to pass up given what they do. They are based in Malaysia and also a no log policy. There is too much to say on this subject. Do research. Those are my thoughts and the choice I am about to currently make.

1 year for $59.95 or 27 months for $69.95. The two year deal is kick ass.

 

Same, I've been with IVPN for a couple of years now. Runs clean, I get great speeds also. I have 1.2gb up and down, when connected to IVPN, I still get 800mp up and down.

The app itself is outdated, but it simply works. You can give it a try.
PS.I am using the firewall for example to block connection for several games while I am playing them, cause they are full of looong ads.

I guess I should have jumped on this deal. Looks like 2 years is back up to $100 now. Maybe they will have another sale soonish. Doy you have IVPN Standard or Pro?

 

I was paying $40 every quarter. I haven't been to their site to check, but that price structure is pro. Remember, I mentioned the last time I checked a few days back I noticed iVPN had decreased prices.

Ahhh, misunderstanding. That is from iVPN. I was locked in at a previous rate. Those rates only apply to new sign ups. You cant use what I was paying as an example because of that. The picture I posted is currently from hide.me. I will edit this with the actual hide.me url in a moment.

That url will show what I have been talking about. I should have left iVPN years ago. It irritates that they kept me on the same price tier despite prices being lowered to be more in line with the competition.

 

Remember we were initially discussing hide.me price structure. FYI, so far I like the performance.
