Some little gems there guys. I'm already using a couple. At glanze, not a head-count, Chrome is most popular followed by Sandboxie.

So I've resurrected Sandboxie (see siggy) and finally loaded Chrome to see what the fuss is about.

  2. My most used

    Bleechbit
    CCleaner + CCenhancer
    BCwipe
    Jetclean
    Auslogics Registry Cleaner
    Wise Disk & Registry Cleaner
    VirtualBox

    1. Definitely would be Acronis True Image (recovery disk). Let's me experiment and alternate while figuring out if I wanted Win 8.

    2. Next would be Firefox with Adblock plus.

    3. Finally, K9 Web protection. It's improved and and working well.

I never used AdBlock Plus as I do not use Firefox (Personal preference)
But AdMuncher works in all browsers, the home page explains much more then I could..............

I've been using it for years and it's one of the few app's I could count one one hand that I'm very happy with and have no intention on changing in the foreseeable future.
It is not free but worth every penny IMO.

what browser are you using? I just tried Chrome on my setup & as you can see my siggy has already reverted back to FF. Due to slowness & non responsive at times. I think maybe DW.

It was Opera for about three years but have recently switched to Chrome and the page rendering problem that I started having with Opera is gone and Chrome does defiantly seem a bit faster. Real time here is still DefenseWall coupled along side Shadow Defender and PC is as quick as it ever was. :D

Fences huh? I don't think I've had desktop icons enabled for a long time, I use the desktop more as a picture frame, lol.

    Firefox
    Adblock Plus
    CCleaner
    Eset

Just off the top of my head. There are others but those are tops for me at the moment on each PC that I own or use at work.

This is a difficult one as I am not sure if I can choose one favourite. I always like PDF-XC, VLC, Google Earth, Marble, Paint.NET, Stellarium & Celestia on any PC I run. I also like OpenOffice & AbiWord. They are all my favourite.
