What is this? (Java Related)

    I have always known that Java 6 is at update 37 and Java 7 is at update 9

    But now while browsing on filehippo.com I noticed they have this in the browser plugins section:

    Java Runtime Environment 1.7.0.9 (32-bit)


    what is this?? why would one need it if they have Java 7 update 9 installed?

    Its the same java you have. JAVA 7 update 9 (JRE 1.7.0.9) :)
