What is the most secure and feature rich firmware for WRT54g?

    What is the most secure and feature rich firmware for WRT54G router? Also does it feature WAP?
    Finaly, if I leave my router on WIRED can I shutdown the wireless part of it?
    I am afraid that the wireless might not be as secure. Is this router as secure as my old BEFSR41 V1 when used in a wired mode? Or can a hacker enable my Wireless router part and leech data?
