What is the meaning of acpi=off and noapic ?

    Hello trichard68,

    Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    The acpi=off parameter disables ACPI which may help with a particular hardware configuration. The noapic parameter disables APIC (Advanced Programmable Interrupt Controller).
