What is 'The Last Defender'?

My brother phoned me, a bit in panic, that he got the message form 'The Last Defender' he had the 'Trojan' bla bla. Never heard of 'The Last Defender' so I guided him through the uninstall procedure, did some other controls and finally a full system scan with NOD32, which I installed for him long time ago. NOD didn't find anything.

I don't understand why he installed 'The Last Defender' (he couldn't tell me either....weird), the strange thing is with Google I can't find anything about it. Has anybody here heard of this 'program', is it antispyware, antivirus? It's not on the rogue list of Spyware Warrior and as far as computer-security is regarded I don't recognize the name at all.
