What is the best way to uninstall version 2.7 before I install the latest........just use the ESET uninstall tool in the program? Sometimes those don't work as good as they should, that's why I ask. Thanks.

Uninstall NOD, restart. Delete the ESET folder in program files after restarting your computer, then install the new version.

Use Revo Uninstaller in advanced mode, then reboot. Use cCleaner issues and reboot. Install 3.0. Works like a charm in any app for me.

    Hi,

Maybe you guys can help me with a similiar problem?

I previously had 2.7 installed on my system, downloaded 3.0 but during installation 3.0 said it could not successfully remove 2.7 from the system, and that I would need to manually remove it before installation will continue.

I tried add/remove aswell as the nod's own uninstall button, both of which failed giving the following error..

Now I'm kinda stuck in limbo. I cant install the new 3.0 version untill I remove the previous version. And the previous version wornt uninstall, it doesnt seem to operate correctly either.

I've already sent an email to Eset about this, but still awaiting a reply.

Any advice you can give will be much appreciated.

    Regards

Reinstall 2.7 then use Revo Uninstaller in advanced mode.
