What is the best type of firewall for file-sharing?

    Well I have Zone Alarm Pro, and I use Bit Torrent and eMule with little or no problems as a result of zone alarm.

    I know zone alarm used to have problems, but largely they are gone.

    I have, works fine, does slow the system down after over 500 connection running for whole day.
