What is scanned?

    Can anyone tell me please if eset scans for rootkits, scans the registry, and etc.?

    The scan window never shows any of these things. If someone could give me a complete list of what Eset scans, would sure be appreciated.

    Hello,

    If yo go into the Advanced setup you'll find the objects the program scans for. The help files will also list them.

    NOD32 does scan for rootkits but the registry is a text file and isn't scanned.

    The registry is scanned during a startup scan as well as when a threat is being cleaned.
