What is Prevx? Do I need it?

I have Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 and MBAM (on demand) + SuperAntiSpyware (on demand)

So what is Prevx and do I need it or not really with the setup I have?

 

If you've got a copy use it, why not ? Suggest you drop in at Prevx. com and have a read.

 

Number one question is:
Will WSA play well with Bitdefender in terms of system performance/responsivness.
Bitdefender 2012 is still a bit hoagie so I wonder how much the performance will decrease by adding wsa to the hogwash.

 

If you don't already have a license for Prevx 3, you definitely shouldn't consider buying it as Prevx 3 is end-of-life. In that event, you should be looking at Webroot SecureAnywhere (AKA Prevx 4) instead.

As to whether you need either Prevx 3 or WSA with your current setup, I would say no; but on the other hand there shouldn't be any conflict if you do decide to add either Prevx 3 or WSA to the mix.

 

My opinion only:
You don't need it. I would add Emsisoft Emergency Kit (Free) as an on-demand scanner.
