What is ck.exe

    I cannot load Riven or Exile that i just got with the Myst 10th Anniversary DVD Edition.................PG tells me ck.exe wants to start.... if i ok it or not nothing happens...most of the time...sometines the game seems to install....but then it won't open..........i have began the install of other games i have removed and all works as it should................problem seems to be only with the above mentioned three pack.......anyone with ideas ?
