    Sounds idyllic. I'm envious!

Hmmmmm....in California that would probably translate to a Volkswagen Beetle. :D :D

Hmmmmm II....have you tested that theory with a Grizzly? :ninja:

    Hey ssgtmax,

it was a nice place indeed. Especially for the outdoor type. ;)

Sorry, I don't know Ted Kaczynski.

I was not speaking of Grizzlies here, you will never see a grizzly in Québec anyway. I was speaking of blackbears. If you happen to meet one, there is not need to run away for it would excite him more and he will consider you like a potential prey. ANW, a bears can go 5 times faster than you when charging.

Okay, here is one of the foxes we took in pictures. It took time before I could send these pictures for I don't have a scanner at home.:( We took these pics at the National Park on our way back from Wapizagonque lake. It was a cheap camera; we don't bring any expensive one in a canoe.

He shyly came out of the woods...

Thanks Ronjor. I fed him with oatmeal cookies. It took him about 3 minutes before he went close to me. :) I never stopped whispering to him and was moving in very slow motion to make him feel more secure. You do one quick gesture and he is gone. :(

We here in Lincolnshire UK Uguel have no need to go into the Wilds of Canada.....Foxes have become so tame and Urbanised the the cheeky little devils have no problem coming into our gardens or our houses (if your not careful)........just thank Heavens we don't have Black Bears or Kodiaks here...

    Cochise,

That's interesting! Foxes in Quebec are still wild and you seldom see them.
I guess Lincolnshire foxes act like our raccoons in Quebec. :)
