What happened to Menorcaman

    It has been five days now since the last post by Menorcaman. What I fear is that he has been turned off by the direction in which Acronis seems to be heading. He expressed his feelings on this matter here:

    I always marvel at his command of the English language as well as his reasoned contributions to this forum. It would seem he got his training in "another life".

    I for one hope his absence is only temporary and that he will keep posting to this forum.

    Maybe the amount of Trolls in the Acronis forum has something to do with it as well?

    Not only that. Well known is the fact that all software problems are caused by and only by Trolls. Without them, forum even wouldn't be necessary!

    Nothing sinister about the absence of Menorcaman.
    I read a comment by him about a week ago that he was not upgrading to TI9 at this time and would not be visiting the forum so often.
    I guess we'll all have to wait until TI 9 stabilizes and Menorcaman decides it's a worthwhile upgrade before we see him so frequently.
    Perhaps he'll visit occasionally to see how TI9 is going.

    Hi all,

    I'm still here alive and well :). Thanks for your kind words.

    Busy hosting family visitors at the moment so am only able to keep a watching brief for now. Also engaged in setting up a new Acer Aspire for "her indoors" so clearly that's GOT to take priority :p.

    Anyway, I'm still waiting for the dust to settle some more over TI 9.0 before upgrading and have kept out of the debate (had to bite my tongue very hard!!). In the meantime I will attempt to provide inputs to the forum if I feel I have something worthwhile to contribute.

    Boy, I wanted to do the same, but I have an Adult Educaton class to teach tomorrow, so I have to look at version 9 tonight.

    Glad you are OK and just involved in other stuff.
