Since my latest windows update (7/64bit) I notice a strange delay during the boot up process.
Initially I am getting the usual screen offering me the choice of Win7 and the Macrium Recovery Enviroment - I let this run normally 10 seconds or choose Win 7 if I am impatient and then for the longest period nothing much happens. In the past usually after 10 seconds or less the windows log-on screen would appear (SSD) - atm it can take several minutes before this happens. Once I get the log-on screen and continue, the pc boots up fine. I am trying to figure out what process or program may cause this delay? At times I am not even sure if waiting is appropriate or a cold reboot is necessary.
