Same here, for sure. I have heavier security apps for primary defense as most of us do, but WP(paid) is often the first to alert me of changes and give me the choice but primarily it is where I go to get a quick take on everything running, active, or inactive on my system, including the services and BHO/add-ins area.

I think BillP has provided and continues to provide excellent value compared to the cost of licenses for WP.

I use the Plus on both computers, and it is well worth the price. It is a very convenient way to see what runs at startup or is active. Also I like to be able to get further information as to the particular process, and be advises whether or not it is safe or necessary.

It also alerts as to something that wants to start. I would not want to be without it.

    Regards,
    Jerry

I have the PLUS version (99¢ deal) and I think it offers good security and functionality...
But how can it be "real-time" instead of polling, if it lets changes happen and notifies only after a few seconds (ex: for start up entries)?

Good question. Usually it needs around a minute to detect the change.
