What exactly does Shadow Defender do?

    Events are written in Events log while in Shadow mode but get deleted after rebooting.

    Starting with v1.2.0.368 SD's write-cache (disk or RAM) is encrypted. Still, RAM is definitely more secure as it is volitile, but unless enough RAM is allocated to SD's cache it will spill-over to disk. Aside from security aspects, I haven't seen much, if any, performance improvement when using RAM for SD's cache.

    well, they do get deleted, mind you, they don't get securely overwritten/wiped.
    so still recoverable.

    Acknowledged. If you think this is important (I don´t), just e-mail the developer and suggest a change.
