What engines would you choose in a product like hitman pro?

    Its strange that nobody has said F-Secure even though it got AV-C av of the year last year...wonder why that is?

    I am amazed by the fact that people choose Norton's engine, in my eyes Norton's signatures aren't really that great. Way better alternatives are available.

    I would pick:
    1. Ikarus
    2. BitDefender
    3. Avira
    4. Panda
    5. Malwarebytes (so you don't need MBAM anymore).

    True, Norton signatures aren't really the best and considering HMP depends on them a lot, i think it's not a good choice :D

    You forgot Hitman Pro's own.

    It uses BitDefender, plus its own. Should count as more than one engine like Emsisoft.

    Good for older malware.
