same file is scanned the right-click and advanced scan prevx has not detected anything....Virus total results showed
As jmc777 has said, the right click scanner only provides a very small portion of the scanning of Prevx. The VT engine provides even less - Prevx does indeed block the file (I typed the MD5 in the filename on the screenshot - the filesize in our database is 212,347) and has blocked it since August 24th. If you're seeing your local agent not detect it, that could be because of other security software installed blocking Prevx from accessing the file, but Prevx will indeed block it if it becomes a threat. EDIT I found a sample of it and reuploaded it and now we find it on VT Prevx is the only product on VT which has to connect out to the internet to determine a file so it's possible there was a loss in connectivity when the sample was submitted.
