What do you think of ThreatFire (formerly Cyberhawk)?

    OK..so if i opt out, scan system, find and remove malware and then opt in to receive updates, will the program send the info to the vendor at that time ?
    BTW...is real time protection still enabled when one opts out ?

    I've used a-squared Anti-Malware and Threatfire, and like them both. I also think ThreatFire's Behavior Detection and a-squared's IDS are two of the best Real Time protections available. However I think a-squared is the more stable program at the moment, and offers more protection in the way of both signature and heuristic detection.

    I wonder how is the Behav blocker in KAV PDMs. It,s prompts are more clear I think as it gives popups alerts as : generic trojan detected , worm detected etc

    I still have CyberHawk free. It runs ok with Nod32. Quiet and not many FP. A little slow when opening some files but that doesnt bother me.

    I think I will change to ThreatFire free now.

    If I download the latest version 3.0.11 (October 17,2007) do I get a full, final release?
