What are the Nod32 Professional and Lite versions?

I was surfing on the http://www.eset.sk/buxus/en site and saw that there are marketed several versions of Nod32. How does the Pro version differ from the version most people are using and what is the Lite- version?

I see only the NOD32 Standard and Lite editions for home users.

1)Apparently both editions are not separate products at this time.

2)I suspect that in the future, NOD32 Lite Edition may become the AV-only part and the standard edition may include features like antispam or firewall etc.

as far as i can tell nod32 is a online edition, you download and get settings via email. Since it is not a boxed product may be it is cheaper.....

And may be it doesn't have EMON and DMON included?

edit: btw it is not avalible in english, and 1500 skk is like 46 USD... which isn't cheap at all

Lite version contains all scanning modules like AMON, IMON, DMON, EMON... It only differs from Standard Version that after purchasing you will get a password and username and you can download NOD32 from Internet. After purchasing Standard version you will get an original NOD32 CD-ROM (of course with username and password)...

 

Then why create confusion? Advertise one product with an option for a mailed CD for $10 or so. Seems to me it would ease the confusion a bit.

Std: CD-ROM - from a certain point in time, from now on?

I renewed Std. in July this year and no CD-ROM. ??

So, new sales approach started recently?
