    Tab Mix Plus

But that one is outdated. You can get the latest build at the author's website.

I am trying out this theme:
    http://boneyardbrew.deviantart.com/art/Firefox-3-7-Mockup-Redux-2-5-130502568
Of course Adblock+ and Noscript is installed with a lot more addons. But its all hidden for maximum visibility. Also using "Organize Status Bar" addon to hide status bar symbols :) The search bar is together with the "AwesomeBar" through the "Omnibar" addon.
    Look at this stunning result:

Hope it was not mentioned before.Found an interesting privacy-security addon "RequestPolicy".
I Think it requires patience at the beginning as with no script,or you may experience problems viewing some websites.
Also the developer recommands this as an companion to no script
(RequestPolicy is not a replacement for NoScript! Each focuses on different, important issues. For the best security, we recommend using both RequestPolicy and NoScript.)

    From the decription
"RequestPolicy is an extension that improves the privacy and security of your browsing by giving you control over when cross-site requests are allowed by webpages you visit.

Cross-site requests are requests that your browser is told to make by a website you are visiting to a completely different website. Though usually legitimate requests, they often result in advertising companies and other websites knowing your browsing habits, including specific pages you view throughout the day. Among the attacks that cross-site requests are used in, they are particularly dangerous with Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks where your browser is told to make a request to another website and that other website thinks you (the person) meant to make the request."

I am using ColorfulTabs but the latest version does not highlight the current tab- so I am unable to quickly tell which tab is open. Does anyone know of an extension that will work with ColorfulTabs that will highlihjy the current tab?

    thanks

I use v 3.9.3 which to my knowledge is the latest one and it highlights the current tab - but I had to recheck the "highlight the currently selected tab" option

Problem is, it hides things a little too well - even the controls on small windows.

Hide Caption Titlebar Plus may therefore be a better choice (haven't tested it yet):

Update: It works beautifully, does what it says on the tin. If you think the close button is too prominent, you can edit windowControls.png in Photoshop.

That's the version I have and there is no difference between any of the tabs as far as which one is current. I have checked "highlight the currently selected tab".

I may be going overboard with Add to Search, but it's one handy extension:

    2009-09-02_173956.jpg

Really like that it works with Add to Search and Context Search.

Definitely going to hang on to this one.

    Thanks again Pedro.

No one uses firefox personas?!! I cant do without it especially on windows 7/vista. I am not big on the picture based textures, but the standard black and silver looks great.

wenever i try to use the glasser add-on to get that glass effect, it keeps screwing up and only half the top part of the browser goes glass and the other half stays the same....

What glasser addon are you using? You only need StataGlass and no other glass addon.
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/14288/
It could also be an incompatibility with other addons.
Try a new profile and keep adding addons until it breaks the glass effect.
Use FEBE to export the installed addons and themes to a single folder and drag and drop them to the firefox addons page of the new profile, its faster.
