Mozilla's Firefox Monitor Can Now Alert Users If Their Accounts Have Been Hacked

Mozilla’s Firefox Monitor was announced earlier this year as an experimental tool that lets people know if any of their online accounts have been hacked. Now, Mozilla is launching Firefox Monitor as an official service that lets users sign up for free and get alerts if their account has been hacked or has become victim to a data breach.

“Data breaches, when information like your username and password are stolen from a website you use, are an unfortunate part of life on the internet today. It can be hard to keep track of when your information has been stolen, so we’re going to help by launching Firefox Monitor, a free service that notifies people when they’ve been part of a data breach,” Mozilla said in a blog post.

What's the point of using this, as HIBP already offer registration to get alarm?
I'd rather expected that Fx warn its user when he/she filled his/her email in a form - it's risky behavior (Fx to capture email address) so need user consent, but still will be useful.

Password-management platform 1Password has announced a new breach report service for enterprises, using data from the Have I Been Pwned (HIBP) password breach database.

With 1Password’s new domain breach report offering, the company is making it easier for its business customers to identify employee accounts that have been compromised, alert impacted users, and urge them to create new passwords generated by 1Password.
Any business enrolled in 1Password Teams or 1Password Business will be able to create a quick report that checks all email addresses on the company’s domain against nearly 10 billion compromised accounts listed on the HIBP database.
