    It gets better the longer you watch it. Win8 uses 200mb less RAM than Win7 with an improved, built in anti malware client running at the same time.

    No activation, completely public.

    Yeah I missed the beginning, rewatching now.

    i hope it's good enough to start using right away for every day computing.
    i'll wait for the comments before trying it out.

    In light of the improved security (enhanced Windows Defender), able to repair itself/clean install, lighter footprint, and uses Window 7 drivers; I'll give it a go.

    During the keynote presentation they boasted a lot about Win7 apps working on Win8, I've my fingers crossed.
