Welcome Colasoft https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=194096 May I take the privilege, as an old member of this board, to welcome you here. It is nice to see you here. Thanks to the Wilders staff. I'm sure that there is lots to learn.
hi, your software looks really good and easy to use, i didn't realise there was anything like that, if i ever setup vista i'll try it out, or maybe you could make a linux version
Welcome Colasoft, and thanks Wilders for good addition to the forums! I've d/l the demo version and already like some of the features over my commview and iris. Of course I will use the rest of the time to get to know capsa but I instantly liked its ease and layout - the more I use it the more I like it, v.good product
Hi Meriadoc, You must be a professional in this filed (look how many sniffers you use ). It seems we've not done enough marketing to let you find our product first. However, we are glad to see Capsa starts to win your heart
Hi Bio-Hazard, Don't forget to tell me what you have got from our products I'm sure you must have something to say.
Welcome Colasoft folks I'm a newbie to network things, but I've been using your Packet Builder (discovered throu SnapFiles) to perform some tests on firewalls. Best regards
Hello Lucas, In addtion to the Packet Builder we have three other free network utilities, you can find them in the "free network tools" section. Also you can download the trial version of our commercial products.
Hello Colasoft, Very nice to see you here. I have used your products for quite a while, I purchased your enterprise analyzer (version 5, about 2 years ago~ via Javvin). Certainly good, could not actually get by without it now. I do make a lot of testing, and find it a pitty there is no possible direct interaction between, for example, the analyzer and the Packet creator. Regards,
Hello Stem, Thank you for you long time support. According to your description, I belive your version is too old. I would strongly recommend you upgrade it to our latest version 6.6. We are now having an Christmas event that giving away our free Christmas gift - MAC Scanner 2.0. I hope you will enjoy it. We also want to hear more suggestions from you. Please tell us how do you want the interaction between the analyzer and the Packet Builder(creator) will be? Or you can make any suggestions in our Wish-List thread. Thank you.
Hello Kevin Zhou, I agree, it is certainly a path I should take, but what options would I have for such an upgrade directly with Colasoft?. As I mentioned, I did purchase the Analyzer from Javvin, but would prefer not to deal with these again. If I have an agreeable upgrade option with Colasoft, then I will take it. I did follow your link just after you posted, and found the "free scanner" was actually only for current customers with a current "active maintenance", I have just looked at your download page, which does actually allow anyone to download this tool, so I thank you for that,.. I will have a look at this on my ISP LAN. I would actually need to first look at your latest build, really to see what is blocked by firewalls (a number of firewalls will block the inbound packets to the analyzer,.. I did make a number of e-mails to Javvin concerning this, but was told "use the windows firewall".) Regards, Stem
Hello Stem, You can purchase our 1-year maintenance to directly upgrade the old version to the latest version. According to our agreement with Javvin, a user who has purchased the old version from Javvin should upgrade it from Javvin too. I'll contact them on this issue. A sales representative will be assigned to follow it up. Sorry for the incovenience. Stem, I'm so sorry to tell you that this special gift is only for the customer with "active maitenance" as you mentioned above. We didn't directly provide the download url on our website since we want the gift be special enough. Once you have purchased the maintenance you can download it from your user page. Yes Stem, for technical questions, you can directly contact our technical support support@colasoft.com or just post it in this forum, which is exactly the major goal to launch this support forum. Regards, Kevin Zhou
