webroot spysweeper question

    if i dowload the trial can i scan and remove for free or is it scan and pay to remove. and does it support firefox abd opera? i know it supports IE.

    afaik, its fully functionally til the end of teh trial and afterwards u just cant update. its realtime only protects IE's homepage and search settings from being changed. it also protects against third-party cookies. but if u get spyware it doesnt matter which browser, chances are the scanner will pick it up anyways.

    of course, just like most any other program it comes with an installer/uninstaller.
