My experience is that WSA and avast! work well together.

Hey darts, I am running Avast ISS (firewall turned off) and WSA Essentials concurrently on one system (Win7 x64) very successfully. This "marriage" required NO changes to either system's settings in order to work together....:thumb:

The only conflict I notice that WSA Identity Shield will keep Avast Script Shield from reading the browser. But only if the Identity Shield is protecting the browser. All others are not effect by it.
