The Webroot password manager is the full version of LastPass with Webroot branding and some usability improvements with the rest of the integration. This and the backup functionality will be available to beta testers soon :)

So it also includes the mobile version?
Can you be more specific about what has been added to lastpass?

The Help file has several pieces of information about the Password Management feature.

Yes but I see exactly the same options or less than lastpass has.

Yes, it is the full version of LastPass as PrevxHelp said, but with Webroot branding. However, the backend has probably been tweaked to fit in with WSA. Otherwise it is essentially the same. I do note it has to be downloaded separately and is not part of the initial WSA program setup download.

I don't know about mobile access though, but I should imagine you could log in via the Webroot portal as described on a mobile device.

Just to report you that there are no issues after upgrade of NIS to today's release of 2012 version. It seems that NIS2012 coexist in peace with WSA v8.0.0.12.

Right but I have to have installed NIS due to our company policy but WSA (former Prevx) is my addition & private investment ;)

48 Hours is too optimistic, I bet for 24 as much :D

BTW webroot has any plan to participate in the AV-Comparatives tests?

Would be nice but unlikely most in AV-Comparatives is done on-demand and not on-execution, results will heavily undermine the strenght of WSA.

    Hi,
Which browser are you running under?

They can easily participate only in the dynamic tests and in the performance tests.

It sounds like something is being blocked or denied access to by wrsa, or perhaps flash is trying to upgrade and it is being denied access to data by wrsa. Best way to first rule out WRSA as the cause is to see if the problem exists when WRSA is not running. If you shut down WRSA (not just disable protection) and close and open your browser again to the same page and see if it happens again then chances are this is not related. Otherwise more information would be required to resolve this bug, so either go through support via the agent as this sends up some useful logs that support can use to diagnose the issue or deal with one of us here i.e. prevxhelp

Only thing is if wrsa was preventing flash from upgrading (or performing the upgrade check) and disabling wrsa allows it to work you might not be able to reproduce the problem after - it would definately be worthwhile knowing this and the circumstances around it to be able to reproduce it (i.e. version of flash when problem existed, version of OS, other security software or perhaps firefox add-ins involved etc...)

If you enable Identity Shield does the problem return? (sorry to say I hope so but if it does at least we have a reproducable issue which means it can be fixed)

This may have been asked but, instead of having to change the heuristic settings under each tab, it would be nice to have the option to change one and save to all at one time.

Thanks - I agree, this would be very helpful for users both wanting to reduce or raise heuristics at the same time. We'll be looking into the best way to convey this in the UI :thumb:

On a similar note, we're also planning a one-button way to revert all of your configuration back to the defaults, and we're planning simple configuration "profiles" to let you say that you want Low, Medium, Maximum, etc. protection.

    Thanks again!
