I will leave that upto PrevxHelp to answer! I just don't think that "Magic Briefcase" is a patent name?

These components are already supported in the current client but do come as a secondary download :) We'll be pushing out license keys that offer this functionality in the very near future!

I just registered my BETA license on that Webroot Console. I was able to register just fine. However you still have to buy Passwords and Backup, but upgrading/renewing is not available for BETA licenses.
You can view scan and protection statistics from online, and even edit security settings (low, medium, high, extreme). Manage users and licenses. It looks like you can use one license on three devices and the Complete (AV plus) license comes with 10GB of online storage.
    Really quite impressive.

This is turning out to be one very smart little (in every sense of the word) piece of software :thumb:

My key code does not work, did you used the key that they sent you by email? Did you were also in the private beta?

I was also in the private beta. But I am using a license from the public beta (I got two licenses).

Yesterday, I downloaded a file that I scanned with EMSI Anti Malware which said it was infected.

After running a quick scan with MBAM this morning, it also detected the exe file after it had been extracted earlier from the .RAR file.

However from WSA, there was nary a peep.

P.S. I suspected that this file was doubtful because the link was removed by the Wilders' mods very quickly.

Send the MD5 from the WSA log to support https://detail.webrootcloudav.com/servicewelcome.asp and ask!

If you scan a file with WSA it will show in the log and then you send the the MD5 to support!

    Example: FF 6.0.2
    Webroot Scan Log (Version v8.0.0.7)
Log saved at Tue 2011-09-06 19:29:27

    v8.0.0.7
    Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (Build 7601) 64bit
    Scan Started: Tue 2011-09-06 19:29:09
    Files Scanned: 1
    Malicious Files: 0
    Duration: 1s

Some legitimate files are not included in this log
    [G] c:\users\daniel\downloads\firefox setup 6.0.2.exe [MD5: BA36842C5C50515B0E114B61F5B72F4D] [Flags: 08081000.24848]

Yesterday I sent a MD5 hash of a file that wasn't detected by WSA to the WSA Beta Team. I actually didn't do it via the scanning method suggested by TH as I have HashTab installed, and so was able to extract the MD5 file hash using that.

It's just another way, but TH is right, you can send the information required after doing a scan on the file and saving the log then extracting the details needed from that.

I use HashTab also but it's the same as in the WSA scan log! :thumb:

The backup and password management features discussed earlier are obviously components of the product that is being split into 2-3 versions alluded to in the PC Mag article I posted about here. I think these additions will be part of the 'Complete' version; this is also mentioned in the Help file.

It's currently only out to the private beta users but I'll get a changelog together once we push it out wider :)
