Thanks for the reply. Also having difficulty posting/attaching pictures here. But I need to confirm this again later.

I am doing that now. But it's somewhat annoying to see a greyed-out icon with an exclamation mark..reminding me of Avira when you disable WebGuard. That particular remedy to Avira is by changing the config and uninstalling the WebGuard. I was looking for something in that context.

Seems I have a lot of explaining to do to my friends whom I nagged about using PrevxSOL....they still don't know that there's WSA but I intend to try it out first before telling them(busy guys they are :)...)

How about those who bought licenses for PrevxSOL? Will migration to WSA in the future carry over the license they have? Or they need to buy another one specifically for WSA?

About detection override, it caters to a per file basis now unlike previously you can add the whole folder..correct? Or I am doing it wrong somehow...

The icons are still at it. WSA has FF icon in the tray area. http://www.freeimagehosting.net/b771b I'll check without FF inside SBIE maybe later or the next day.

It's not normal, but I think it will be fixed in the next update. We will be releasing the update in the next couple days after finishing internal testing. In the meantime, you may want to shutdown the agent before shutting down your OS.

The beta is working great for me........Almost like a final release. Quick question, I'm not looking to pin you down to an exact answer, but when do you think the final release will be out and ready to purchase? By the end of the year?? Just looking for a guess other than just soon. :p

I think you'll see something before the end of the year, but I can't comment on final dates yet :)

Are you running WSA with the sig that we see? Did not even encounter some issues with the WRdata folder?

    --

Padlock is seen in Opera 11.5 (Wilders' in https and in Gmail) nut in SRWare Iron v12 Stable it's not there. See image attached.

I don't think SRWare Iron is supported! https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=1887237&postcount=10

Got some more false positives upon installng drweb trial.WSA detected 1 trojan and 1 risk ware in user temp files.Hitman pro says no - virus total say no-online eset say no.I am pretty positive its fp's and if I am wrong so are all other scanners listed above.

At ths time I removed it to trial drweb but with difficulty of removal.I shut down WSA before the uninstall and under tools > uninstall everthing seem good and then noticed try icon - had restarted and still did not remove - exe is runnng.I then repeated steps 2 same as above to no avail still there.Step 3 repeated as above except I used add>remove programs finally off.Great for malware deterent but difficult to user me.

I know beta is just that and not ready for prime time but the false positive and large wrdata build up and hard removal, leaves me to waite for a little more maturity.

All in All its potentilal to be something great will come with time and bug fixes. Thanks for chance to beta test.

A bit the same, but it will not shutdown at all here, just hangs on a blank screen without the taskbar. But I see it probably will be fixed in the next update :thumb:

Odd thing: when alt-tabbing, it "sticks". The little tab window stays on screen.

The biggest problem I got was the complete system freeze when monitoring a suspicious program. It turned out wsra "unfreezes" after about 2 minutes, so a reboot was never necessary, but annoying it is.

But hey I can live with that! I trust the beta enough to keep using it, it works very well intercepting possible threats, few FP's. I like it

    @TripleHelix,

Oh...Thanks for the info. Seems I forgot that one. I earlier posted with FF6 and there is no padlock (tiny) also. Seems to be functioning now after a clean install. See image.

Had some FP's also. I went to Webroot support but sadly not even 1 reply there. With Prevx it was only a couple of hours to a day (maximum) and you'll get the help and assistance/reply you need. But with Webroot support..tsk..so..so..

    Just a question.

Wasn't WSA supposed to have URL Blocking capabilities.
Because I have never seen the actual "Block Page" show up in the browser, either in my own testing or in any of the tests uploaded on YouTube.

    Thanks :)

Pad lock issue is still spasmodic with opera 11.5, IE FF and chrome seen unaffected.

But I do get the pad lock to appear by left clicking the task-bar in Opera and then left clicking the address-bar.
    Hope that observation helps?

Well this thing is running so well on my test rig, so I decided to install it on my pride and joy main machine. I did uninstall AIS totally before installing WSA, but everything else in my sig is good............I can't believe this is a freekin' beta!

Question #1: When beta updates are released how will they be installed?

Question #2: When a final is released, will I have to totally uninstall the beta, or can I update to the final through the beta?

Keep up the good work guys, this is amazing.

Cool thanks! I left everything at default, except I turned off scheduled scans. Again, this is a cool piece of software!

Great product but I am worry about future prices of WSA and I hope it keep it PREVX prices and not Webroot prices ( which is way to high ). If nothing else I hope WSA has special prices for people who wanted to keep 2 antivirus software running ( WSA being the 2nd one ).

    Thanks
