Looks like my beta license was also significantly extended.
Same here, looking good for two years. And to be honest WSA was the first software I participated for beta back in those days.
Thanks to Nic @tolstoshev the Webroot Community Manager booted the Beta Keycodes to 2017 so why don't you come by and join the Private Closed Beta Group where all the chatter is: https://community.webroot.com/t5/An.../Looking-for-Webroot-Beta-testers/td-p/175350
I did a month ago Daniel, actually I saw your and Nic's post about the license yesterday there too.
I am just back after having my computer in the workshop due to a failing hard drive. I was without my desktop for 2 days. Hopefully, all will be well after getting a new drive and having the data copied over onto the new drive. Also, just got the new WSA update when I booted up.
Strange, that just after an update, a scan finds unidentified threats on my system. Also, why do I have to wait until the scan finishes, before I can see what they are?
Maybe you worked the hard drive to death with all that security software running?
Haha lol. Let's no forget that it have worked fine for him for many years.
Go look in the Beta Group there was a Warning of this in the current Beta so you should let them know!
Also every Beta Tester will get a Beta Keycode when they Join the Beta Test Group here: https://community.webroot.com/t5/An.../Looking-for-Webroot-Beta-testers/td-p/175350
The OS drive, is good. It was my data drive that started going:
This is a screenshot taken in December:
This was taken last night, after getting the computer back from the workshop:
Really nice taskbar, I cant even recognize all of them.
Can you use Tiny Wall with Webroot? Has anybody tried it?
I don't see why not and if you have any issues let me know as it will let others know! Just to let you know that WSA's Firewall is a Smart Outbound Firewall that works with Windows Firewall or a Third Party Firewall and the part about being Smart if infected or Unknown Malicious process try's to call out WSA will Block it. As you can see in my Signature I use Look'n'Stop Firewall on Win 7 x64 but when Win 10 is released I will be using WSA with Windows Firewall here is more info: http://www.webroot.com/En_US/SecureAnywhere/PC/WSA_PC_Help.htm#C4_Firewall/CH4a_ManagingFirewall.htm and why it doesn't show some of the features on Win 8, 8.1 & Win 10 Preview: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Id...tions-fw-control-in-Win-8-Win-8-1/idi-p/60003
is the beta key still the same as it has been it has it been changed th? i sill have the previous beta key running on one of my test machines and i did know if i had to change it. thanks
I have Webroot av on one of my computers. Running well so far. My question is,why is there no need of a full scan? Or should you run one occasionally?
It's the same only new Beta testers will get a new one! Yours should be good till 2017?
Well instead of me explaining again I will post the Link at the Webroot Community because Kit did such a great job! https://community.webroot.com/t5/We...virus/Scanning-PC-suspiciously-fast/td-p/6632
Thanks, I'll check the link.
Did WSA update today to 7.26 which is what my tray icon is showing.
