If you are asking if the alert occurs only when in Shadow Mode, the answer is yes. I submitted the MD5 hash as you suggested and here's the return.

Your request has now been submitted to Webroot threat research.
Here is what we currently know about this file:
    MD5 338c86357871c167a96ab976519bf59e
    Determination: Good
    Determined on: January 18 2011, 17:08
    File Size: 21.1 KB
    First Seen: June 5 2010, 6:17
    PC Count: 664

So why does WSA's scan find the file to be malware? ...and why does WSA continue to do that after I 'Allow' the file?

I think it has to do with being in Shadow Mode for some reason, but stay with Webroot support.

What addon are you using? I tried to see if brave detected any fingerprint but it didn't.

Hmm, there's no such alert from WSA on my Win10 laptop when in Shadow Mode?

And Webroot Support acknowledged that the reported atapi.sys is okay, but they haven't told me how to stop the false positive alert.

Same Shadow Defender version? Maybe we will ping @sdmod and see what he has to say?

Same version and I don't think sdmod is a WSA user? As far as I can tell this problem is a WSA bug!

Maybe not because the way SD works and it's not on happening on both systems but the same versions on both....Like I said lets wait and see what he says a continue with Webroot support.

I am an original beta tester but notice that I now have not received last update. For some reason I remain on Ver 9.0.27.64.
Have checked for software update but am advised that my version is up to date.
    Your assistance would be appreciated.

I'm seeing v9.0.28.39 now, but don't know quite when (yet) it arrived, and I'm thinking it's a beta atm, as I'm on the beta 'trail' :)

Correct for business, but for Consumers we still have a Script Shield.

Sun 2020-04-12 10:21:34.0467 ScriptShield active config: 2S(2) yes, SR(2) no, SSH no, FLR yes, RUD yes, SDE(2) yes, DSR no, DQT 65536, MFS 100, USE yes, UNR no

Also if one uses Scripts you can whitelist them.

PC agent version 9.0.28.48 for Consumer Community Beta!

This build contains changes intended to harden agent update reliability and harden agent uninstall of the Genesis components.
