hmm another strange issue since installing the endpoints. never once had this problem since ive been doing work for this client (jan 2016) all of a sudden EVERY system (maybe a coincidence not sure) running webroot endpoint had their network settings revert to auto obtain / auto dns when they were set to a static ip. i then went and disabled this option in windows and not had it happen again.

This could be a Windows update issue as it was updated October 27th: https://technet.microsoft.com/library/security/ms16-oct

this happened on the 24th so it would have been before the update from ms.

When you say Endpoints it makes me think of the Business version or are you a MSP or just selling boxed versions or cheap ones from Newegg.com? So that's why I suggested contacting Webroot Support. https://www.webroot.com/us/en/business/partners/msp-partner-program
    Thanks,
    Daniel

    Version 9.0.13.62 (Released October 31st, 2016)

    Updated
    • Driver update for Windows 8 and Windows 10.
It means that the new Outbound Firewall Control Driver is now fully functional on Win 8, 8.1 and Windows 10 as it was on older OS's. You must use Windows Firewall or another 3rd party Firewall for full inbound and outbound protection.

I am running webroot internet security in windows 8. I updated to version 9.0.13.62, but do not see the setting
to enable web filter. Is this correct??

I show Active Processes which allows me to either Allow, Monitor or Block. What I don't have is
in the Firewall/ Web shield settings is .. enable web filtering driver.

Okay that part is still in Beta for us Beta testers and there is no timeline for it's release to all consumers. Also Active Processes is much different than Active Connections for the Firewall!

I don't remember if I already asked this. But just to be sure.

    @Triple Helix
Does Webroot uses AMSI on Windows 10?

Maybe a bug or maybe not:

1- Installed WSA on admin Account (with an my old v8.xx beta installer), WSA update itself as usual.
    2- logging-in on SUA
3- imported v9 config file in WSA.
4- WSA is reset to old version ( v8 ) and i have to reinstall the license.

btw, i waiting to regain my access to the closed-beta section in WSA forum. Seems i lost access for whatever reason.

Well all old installers check for the newest version during install (Same as the CD that comes in the Boxed version) so why even bother trying to use an older installer? At the Webroot Community check your PM's to get back in the Beta group.
