Why can't they just create a poll with the names that they are choosing from and we can all vote for the one that we like the most. :)

The latest build is a big improvement. The previous builds were unstable on my system but this one is stable. The issues I reported previously now appear to have been resolved. :thumb:

Getting the name right is very important. The Webroot name is not widely recognised and it has some associations with hogware / bloat. Whilst Prevx only has a small customer base it seems to be recognised in security circles as being an excellent bit of ware. Losing Prevx in the name, at least for the next year or two, would be counter-productive in my opinion and so a previous poster's recommendation of Webroot Prevx is a good starter. Adding Antivirus or Cloud to the name would be a bit passé and would not adequately describe the comprehensive features within, so perhaps something along the lines of Webroot Prevx Secure Pro or Plus...

Good points. It would be nice if Webroot's owners listened.

    Prevx 4 :doubt:

but really, any name that can be sensibly shortened and still be recognisable as to what it actually is...and easy to type.

If everyone could send their name suggestions into our customer support portal, that will let them get properly considered :)

    Thank you!

You mean this new member that writes here about Prevx 3 with Safe Online?:

    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=303660

You can choose to believe any random guy in internet, but anyway, what he said in another thread is that PANDA CLOUD is useless against ZERO DAY malware, not that cloud antiviruses are useless against viruses.

i'm talking about the Panda Post

He said in that Post that Cloud AntiVirus is useless against 0day attacks

    o_O

i know that the whole Reason For a cloud antivirus is to imporve detection of 0day attack

It has nothing to do with Prevx as vojta pointed out this person had high praise for Prevx's defenses and I can't comment on Panda cloud but you might ask in there thread: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=301685&page=12

It will be good when this goes public beta and we can openly talk about how good it is. There's some really good features and functionality that I'm itching to talk about but need to keep it zipped!
