This has happened to us twice. Installed ATI echo on a RHEL4 and CENTOS5 and we get the message Aborted and quickly exits to the shell. If this doesn't work how do we uninstall Acronis?

If the scrubber isn't working, I"d cut my losses and just manually scrub.

First run the win uninstaller -- if it works, fine, if not, yhou can ldelete ATI formthe list of progs.
    Then
search the drive for for filenames or dir names containing "trueimage" or "acronis" and do a search for the same terms in the registry (registry tool like jv16 helps) and delete everything you find.

then, for luck, I'd run Ccleaner.exe and scan the registry again (clceaner is free).

    Hello NumLock,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Corporate Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for delayed response.

Please do the following to remove Acronis True Image Echo manually from Linux installation:

Delete Acronis Secure Zone, if present:

    Removing Acronis Secure Zone automatically:

    - Start Acronis True Image, start the Manage Acronis Secure Zone wizard and select "Remove Acronis Secure Zone".

    Removing Acronis Secure Zone manually:

    - Fix/restore the MBR if Acronis Startup Recovery Manager is activated;
    - Delete the Acronis Secure Zone partition.

Remove all modules from dkms. For example:

    # dkms status
    snapapi26, 0.7.17, 2.6.9-1.667, i686: installed
    # dkms remove -m snapapi26 -v 0.7.17 --all

(!) If you are running 2.4 kernel, the module name will be snapapi, not snapapi26

Remove all Acronis RPMs (ignore all messages about the non-presence of packages):

    # rpm -e --allmatches --nodeps MediaBuilder
    # rpm -e --allmatches --nodeps acronis-glibc
    # rpm -e --allmatches --nodeps dkms
    # rpm -e --allmatches --nodeps TrueImageAgent
    # rpm -e --allmatches --nodeps AcronisAgentLinux
    # rpm -e --allmatches --nodeps TrueImageClient
    # rpm -e --allmatches --nodeps snapapi26_modules
    # rpm -e --allmatches --nodeps TrueImageSecZone

    (!) On 2.4 kernels use snapapi_modules instead of snapapi26_modules

Remove all files and folders related to Acronis software:

    # rm -Rf /etc/Acronis
    # rm -Rf /var/lib/Acronis
    # rm -Rf /usr/lib/Acronis
    # rm -Rf ~/Acronis
    # rm -Rf /usr/src/snapapi*

    Thank you.
