By popovers I am referring to "popups" in the viewing window that block you from seeing the page. For example, everytime I visit Under Armor, I see this: https://i.imgur.com/FAVNSuA.png It is soooo annoying and infuriating to have to click thru this all the time. And there doesn't seem to be a good way to individually block them cause using Ublock element picker hides the popover but then the underlying webpage still thinks the popover is there an hasn't been responded to so you still can't interact with the page trouble free. I despise web designers that use this. It should be outlawed. Are there any hacks to stop these from appearing?
i remember a popup blocker to this, but forgot the name - i use the uBo picker chose one of the most used https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/search/?platform=windows&q=popup what you describe is the awaiting signal by javascript about choice, in most cases its not only the popup, but also the grey background (opacity set) so you have to pick twice. best way ist to write a feedback to authors of the used blocking lists. abd, uBo, fanboy aso. if you had your pick it might be useful to make it general pick: www.domain.com###pupop_name general ###pupop_name second in "my filters", first can be deleted.
here: ##.customer-flyin (which includes the poPup and the background) anyhow it disappears after some seconds when not focussed.
