'..giving Tor only an IP address. Applications that do DNS resolves themselves may leak information. Consider using Socks4A (e.g. via privoxy or socat) instead. For more information, please see http://wiki.noreply.org/noreply/TheOnionRouter/TorFAQ#SOCKSAndDNS'

These are the warning message being generate in Vidalia (0.1.9 (Message Log)) using Tor ( (r16744)) and Privoxy (0000070c), when using ports 587 & 993 in Mozilla Thunderbird with the following proxy settings:

    HTTP Proxy: - Port: 8118
    SSL Proxy: - Port: 8118
    SOCKS Host: - Port: 9050
    SOCKS v5
    No Proxy for: localhost,

Is this anything to be concerned about? If so what else do I need to amend?

    Many thanks in advance.
