I use IE6 (and I'd rather not switch browsers) but I can't help from getting popups/popunders on some sites I frequent.

I want a Popup Blocker that not only blocks the popup/popunder content, but also does not result in a blank page. So which popop blocker will do this (with IE6)?

Thank you in advance for any advice,
    Iris

Well the best one for blocking all types is SuperAdBlocker. It is a pay for popup blocker. If you have the money to spend then give it a try. It has a 15 day trial, so you can see for yourself how effective it is. Search on Google for reviews and tests and you'll see it is well renowned for it's effectiveness. here's a few of them:

I've used it and it does block everything. It also now includes spyware protection.

    Hi Iris,

I've been using this non stop for ages. It really does work and blocks everything, everytime ! It's a very well thought of and safe Program. Lots of people i know also use it and say how good it is.

It's also light on resources too.

It's basically a fit and forget worry free App.

I'll go with StevieO here.....Panicware was a very good one. I used in the old days with IE. I just wouldn't touch IE with a barge pole now....

....anyway IE6 in XP SP2 does have a built in pop up blocker now!
....as do alternative browsers like FF, Opera and such!

If you are satisfied keeping IE....another choice would be Microsoft's MSN Search Toolbar with tab browsing and Pop-up blocker. Of course.... numerous pop-up blockers are nothing more than a glorified Active script blocker which are how most pop-ups occur.
