vrape.hardloved-I need to get rid of it

I have just begun having this problem. The web site I mentioned in my subject has taken over my computer somehow and I can't type in url's anymore because no matter what I type in, I'm diverted to this web address (which is defunct by the way) I am no computer whiz by any means, but must tackle this problem right away. I have looked it up and many others have been infected by this strain also. I need a basic step by step. I know Spyware is a step in the process, but I not only need to block this in the future, I need to get to the root of it and get rid of it. Will Spyware do this, or do I have to take preliminary steps? Help of any kind would be greatly appreciated.

If you still have problems after that, or if you'd like me to check for other spyware:
Please go to http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/, and download 'Hijack This!'.
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log as a .txt file, and copy and paste its contents into your next post.

Most of what it lists will be harmless, so do not fix anything yet.
