VPN firm says it didn’t know customers had lifetime subscriptions, cancels them

    Funny, when users try that explanation ("I didn't know" or "I was unaware"), they're told they should've read the multi-page lawyer-lingo EULA fine print, and dismissed. Maybe the new owners should've been more attentive.

    They should be forced to honor those subscriptions by the court. When you buy a company, ignorance of what you bought and its obligations is no excuse. Sounds like the new owners wanted to change the pricing model/structure and are using this ridiculous excuse to screw their customers.

    Not very professional of the new owners, I have never used VPNSecure in the past and certainly would never install it in the future.

    I imagine they just lost a whole heap of customers... And potential future customers.
