VoodooShield Poll

If you could change VoodooShield's name which name would you like the most? Which name do you believe sounds professional, and would also appeal to Consumer, Corporate, and Government customers? Edited: It seems I could not set the number of names you can vote for. It only gave me a choice to allow members to vote for 1 name or to vote for multiple names. You can vote for as many as you want. I would suggest only voting for the one or ones you strongly like.

 

I'd go for Vector Lock.

 

I'm going to hold off from voting for the time being. My head is still spinning form creating the poll lol I will let everyone know which name or names I voted for, and why after I vote. The poll will run for 90 days. The more members that vote in the poll the more valuable the results will be so I hope we get a lot of participation in the poll.

I voted "do not change"

 

I am fine with VoodooShield but if changed I think "eXecutable shield" (XShield for short) is a nice choice.

 

Sorry I still like VoodooShield. But there many good alternatives. Thanks for the Poll!

Since VS is similar to an executable whitelist/shield i think something along those lines would fit nice. (Exeshield)

 

Me too as it protects us from bad hex.

 

I don't keep up with VoodooShield's thread, so sorry for this question. But is there anything wrong with the current name? I'd rather leave it as it is.

 

Maybe victims of voodoo would prefer to change it.

 

That explains why do I like the current name. I put curses on people. =V

But really, VoodooShield sounds so catchy. No offense but, the other names sound less catchy than the current name. Not to mention you'll need to re-introduce your software and make people have to change their sigs.

 

I chose VoodooShield, I really like the name and don't see any reason to change it.

I believe that marketologists can judge about suitable name (or different names for different targets? IDK) if the product is aimed at wide market.
