I had to reboot my Windows 7 machine and when the desktop came up, there was a notice from CyberLock saying that my subscription had expired. I clicked on the button to purchase a license online, CL's registration page came up, and I selected payment via PayPal.

At this point, I (apparently) could not complete the payment process, as I kept getting an error stating that something had gone wrong. However, a couple of minutes later I received an e-mail from CL confirming my order.

So I went back to the CL settings UI to "confirm registration," and the following screen came up:

    CyberLock issue 2.png

I don't understand the notice in red about "Maximum number of seats reached!" Huh? :doubt:

This message means that you don't have a license to register CyberLock in your account. Check this in your account.

That`s odd, since it means that you already have it installed on the max amount of devices that the license is for. But mail Dan, he responds quickly.

Thanks. For some reason, it seems to have sorted itself out and now the error is gone and the correct expiration date is showing. Maybe it just needed some time to process the renewal. Still, it was disconcerting for a while!

Installed new 8.01 version over the top. No issues apart from a block on a maxxAudio.cab file. Sorted now.

There was a bug that was blocking Hasleo Backup and also Microsoft Defender, both should be fixed in this version
