VS is already humming along with Windows 11 with no compatibility issues. IIRC, you previously posted you were going to hang in there with W10 and make the leap to 12 with nary a venture into Windows 11. I'm on the same fence so please let us know if you go that route and how it worked out. I'll stick with 10 and go with
the next version especially if has a sci-fi ring to it in the name instead of "Windows 12." :D

I run VoodooShield on a drive that is installed maybe once or twice per month--whenever 11 has a signif. update. I've been running Windows 11 since it first came out, like in June of last year, just not continuously. I don't like it but keep it around in case a miracle happens. I also use it to evaluate software like OSArmor and VS--it's a beta Insiders build, so it's more "interesting" that way.

I'm making a leap of faith and banking on M$ historicity that the next version of Windows after 11 will be what Windows 7 was to the unremarkable Windows Vista. It's lamentable there aren't more OS's on the market to choose from. As it stands, we've got MS (maybe Ford as an example analogy) and Mac (Chevrolet maybe?) A bit of a shame there's not a few more Toyota's, Nissan's, and BMW's in the mix to advance this inane analogy further. Oh, well...

Linux being the obvious Fiat in the factor. Go with a clutch and a manual stick shift and seize the day. :argh:

    Thank @Gandalf_The_Grey for this update.
Now regarding the lifetime license, I not sure this is a good solution for small developing company. :thumbd:

You're welcome @Antarctica .I agree that lifetime licences are not the best solution for a business, but as user I'm not a fan of all those subscriptions. Would prefer free or lifetime myself.

I would seriously consider a lifetime license for VS. But I figure: if Dan hasn't offered this by now to the general public, it's unlikely he's going to do so in the future. Maybe I get proven wrong--that would actually be nice. :)

Well on Voodooshield site it says $90.00 for a lifetime license (100 years!) I’m already over 70, so I better hurry up:argh:

Oh, OK, so he does offer lifetime licenses. OK, so this is good to know for future reference. :)
