How is development coming? I see you reached a price decision on your web page. Any word on public release date yet?

Price seems high compared to some of the opposition, particularly as it will be an annual license.

NoVirusThanks EXE Radar, for example has now both a free version and a one-off license fee for the Pro version which is the same price as VS.

I agree. The price does seem high - - - *by comparison*.

However, it has been my observation that a security program with a 1-time/forever license has small prospects for long-term viability.

It will be interesting to see which of these 2 (Voodoo Shield or EXE Radar Pro) will still be in business a few years from now. Perhaps one or the other; perhaps both; perhaps neither. ;)

I think that Sandboxie would qualify as an exception to your observation. :)

Very slow :). The current release is extremely stable, so the developers are taking a well deserved break, but will be adding the new features very soon!

At least you're honest that developers are taking break :D.

Really? We were trying to be as fair as possible with the price. Keep in mind, we have to pay our bills in order to stay in business.

There is nothing wrong with NoVirusThanks, it is just a matter of personal preference.

Yeah, we worked very, very, very hard. I myself worked 12-18 hours a day, every single day for almost a year. And there are 2 other developers. We thought it would be easy to create VoodooShield, we thought it would be a month or so project, but it wasn't. We are slowly adding features, but more importantly, right now we are focusing on the marketing so we can stay in business :).

I definitely respect your opinion, that is why I asked for it, and you have been a tremendous help to us! In all fairness, our competitors who offer a somewhat similar product charge much more than that, they average around $30 a year per computer. We really do want to be very fair, but we do want to stay in business! Thanks again for your opinion!
