    OOI after install of current version "over the top" rebooted as req ... as I have done many times before with no problems:
    My DVD drive disappeared from Explorer and System Management, Disc Mgt, Device Mgr et al
    !!
    Obviously; not seen in VMs either.

    Not specifically sure if VMware did this but that was only recent software change ??

    Googly googly: lots of complex "fixes" for lost/undetected DVD drives: none of which seemed right...

    Rebooted and DVD drive reappeared.

    Anybody else want to raise the ante ?

    Apart from this small glitch...I'm liking the new release. Snappy.

    ( not the same , but, 2nd best tool after FDISR ;) )
