VLC Media Player Flagged

    VLC Media Player flagged as malware as I launched it today. Didn't happen last week. :-/

    NOTE: I don't normally post false positives here, I usually send them to support. Just thought I'd share this one since it's a well-known, popular freeware. :)

    Can't see any point in posting FP (popular freeware or not), you only can expect the answer it'll inevitably bring from Prevx, as always.

    Although I am using WSA beta I am getting no FP for VLC. I suggest to lower heuristics.

    This "FP" was due to maximum heuristics - you may want to lower them (Community.OuterEdge is correct as it is a new version of VLC).
