I'm guessing there will be restrictions, but besides that, I need Dutch subtitles when it comes to movies and series, my English is not bad, but I still would fail to understand at least 20%. Very weird that such a popular company like Roku still hasn't launched in the rest of the world. But I did just read they are active in Great Britain.
I have Roku's registered in both the UK and EU with appropriate VPNs. They are cheap and abundant in the US and you are automatically assigned content based on geolocation. If you want one in the EU, I don't think they would be too difficult to find on eBay and the shipping won't be very expensive for such light and small devices. You can also register an account without giving them credit card information. They try to get it from you but the account will still be activated if you don't give it to them.
Thanks for the info, but I will wait for them to launch their products in Holland, I believe it's only a matter of time. BTW, they did get hammered on Wall Street, I sold their stock just in time, stock trading really is a casino LOL.
