VirusTotal loses Prevx engine

    Best for both I'd imagine...bet they'd like to have the WSA/Prevx 4.0 one though(?)...but as far as I recall that won't be possible?

    Maybe should be moved to general AV section if best, as not support issue...just a fyi :)

    I'm glad they finally got it removed as it was showing a false sense of detection anyways! But you never know Webroot might allow VT to use there new SDK someday!

    @ Dermot: Thanks for the info and I think it's fine here as it has to do with Prevx!

    So from my understanding SurfRight (HitmanPro) used Prevx but as the program got more and more complex HMP's portion of their engine became less and less representative of what Prevx 3.0 can really do?

    Is that right?

    Makes me wonder if those considerations apply to the vendors they are using now.
