Yeah! What gives? I got it as well on one of the file I downloaded, and I cannot access the file, it not quarantined also... Is OK, is it the name of the virus?
Could you please copy and post here that record from the log?
Did you get a pop up as well. about a detected virus?
yes, get a pop up as well
14.4.2007 19:29:27 eAmon file C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Sandbox\DefaultBox\user\current\Downloads\2003us_Fun.bp is OK Event occurred during an attempt to access the file by the application: C:\Windows\system32\mmc.exe.
What did the pop up tell you?
That virus is found and deleted!
May be a big in ESS or simply someone in the VirusLab put "is OK" as a name
Yeah! I got the same one on the screenshot above... The file is still there not quarantined but if I try to access it, it say block or some apps are using it, so basically it is being locked by ESS...
Isn't that a bit strange?
Where is the file than?
Are you sure it isn't doing its "job"?
No, it's not running or anything, I tried to see everything on Process Explorer and it was not running. Can't access it or even delete it... And the pop-up now keeps coming every ten minutes...
Have you performed full scan just in case ... to see if there is anything else? I have no idea if it is real threat or just a bug
The log file says this:
4/15/2007 6:57:40 PM eAmon file Q:\X Y Z\Apex Video Converter Super v5.48\avcs.exe is OK Event occurred during an attempt to access the file by the application: C:\Windows\explorer.exe.
Marcos and other ESET Mods knows more .
Can you upload this avcs.exe to VirusTotal here to see if other antivirus programs + NOD32 v2.7 detect it . Let us know how you're going ?
Sorry, I have deleted the file already because it annoying to have the pop-up showing every few minutes...
Is it possible you or ESS have backed it up in the Quarantine ?
Nope, it's not there, I just checked it...
It's already been fixed, please update to version 2202.
